Chef's Table Dinners are Back!

Willows Bend Farm Kitchen is excited to announce the return of the long awaited Chef's Table Dinners!

At Chef's Table Dinners, 8 to 10 people gather at one table to share a gourmet meal and conversation. They may be strangers going in, but by the time dessert is finished our diners leave as friends.

It has been a concern to me, Alisa, owner and chef at Willows Bend Farm, that the cost of these three course Dinners could be prohibitive for some who would love to participate, so we've come up with a new plan of payment.

Recognizing that money is not the only currency and that every person has something of value to contribute, acceptable payment for Chef's Table Dinners can take the form of barter; a promise for an exchange of goods or services.

Since our suppliers don't share this business model, of course money will be needed as well. For those paying with cash the options are 'Pay what you can', Pay what you think your dining experience is worth', or 'Pay it forward' to ensure that Willows Bend Farm Kitchen can continue to be inclusive and preserve the dignity of our neighbors.

There will be no set price for these Dinners, and payment is made after the meal. We will have a box and cards to write the goods or service being exchanged, accept cash, and a QR code with a link to pay by phone.

Chef's Table Dinners schedule and menus will be announced on Facebook and Instagram and also to those who wish to sign up for a text or email. Reservations are required and special dates may be requested, though you won't know what will be served until closer to the date.
Willows Bend Farm does not have a liquor license but you can bring your own wine or beer to enjoy with your meal.

While we love children, generally speaking these Dinners are more suitable for adults. However, we will be providing a more casual atmosphere for dinners at other times as our Kitchen gets rolling again.
