Willows Bend Farm Kitchen

Good morning from Willows Bend Farm Kitchen! For the most part, our "What's Cooking Tonight?" has been kind of a bust. Originally, many folks showed interest in taking a turn in the kitchen to showcase their special dish. Only one person has done that since we opened in July.

There have also been very few orders for dinner anyway. So, we will still be open until 7pm and you can order off the regular menu of soup, sandwiches or breakfast items, but if you want a full dinner meal you need to special order it.

I am still happy to provide evening meals for board meetings, or family dinners, special occasions or picnics, just let me know as far in advance as possible so I can gather ingredients and block off the afternoon to cook.
Speaking of taking time to cook, there were lots of folks who wanted to help in the kitchen in exchange for meals and other products we carry. That hasn't panned out either, so for the most part, it is just me in the kitchen, with Sandy helping during the lunch rush in between deliveries.
If my regular customer friends can order early in the day, this will help me group items together for prepping to save time. I want to serve meals freshly prepared, not out of plastic baggies.
